The Faysal Bank Twenty-20 Cup 2011-12 is the 9th edition of the domestic Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Faysal Bank Limited. The tournament has to start from the last week of September in Lahore but due to dengue fever it is shifted to Karachi.[1]Three games will be played per day during the group stage with the group winners progressing to the semi finals. The first and second semi- final will be held on 1st October, 2011 while the final will take place on 2nd October, 2011. The opening match will be played between Abbottabad Falcons and Quetta Bears. Faysal Bank have announced that the winning team will take home Rs 2.5 million as prize money and Rs. 1 million prize money has been announced for the runners up.[2]
Rawalpindi Rams are the defending champions as they won the 2011 edition.Faisalabad Wolves won the first edition of the tournament while Sialkot Stallions have won five tournaments consecutively & Lahore Lions won the 2010-11 edition

The tournament will commence from 25th September 2011 in Karachi. All matches are to take place at the National Stadium, Karachi and will be telecast live on Geo Super. A total of fourteen teams will be participating in the event. The fourteen teams have been divided into four groups.[3]
